The Ford Fusion NASCAR with which Marcos Ambrose claimed victories in the NASCAR Cup Series races at Watkins Glen in 2011 and 2012 will return to track for the first time in more than a decade in its public debut in Australia at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival on March 8 and 9.

The Richard Petty Motorsports-built car powered Ambrose, a two-time V8 Supercars champion, to the two race victories of his NASCAR Cup Series career – the only Australian to win in the top-tier of NASCAR. Ambrose has the most NASCAR race wins for a driver born outside of America, with the two wins in the Cup Series and five wins in the Xfinity Series.
The car was imported to Australia by a private collector in 2023. It features the livery from the 2011 Watkins Glen win, recently completing a test at Queensland Raceway for its first laps in more than a decade.
The Ford Fusion will be on track in the new NASCAR category at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, alongside other American stock cars.
The 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will once again feature various categories, ranging from Formula 1 cars, V8 Supercars, sportscars, touring cars, motorbikes and more with the action non-stop without a break in track activity at any stage of the day. Off track there will be car displays, kids' zones, bars and food trucks, exhibitors and traders, activations and more, in a picnic in the park setting.
