Craig Lowndes in the Pagani Huayra R wins Ten of the Best

Craig Lowndes driving the Pagani Huayra R topped the times in the Ten of Best session at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, beating Tim Slade and the Brabham BT62 by one-hundredth of a second.

The Ten of the Best Shootout was a new addition to the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, featuring sportscars, hypercars and touring cars (exclusively for tin-tops), allowing for a comparison of different cars and eras.

Lowndes in the Huayra R narrowly defeated Slade in the BT62 – the first two cars out in the session. The Huayra R was one of the star attractions at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, making its on-track Australian debut in the Hypercar category alongside the BT62 and more.

The Rodin Sintura, driven by Josh Buchan, was third fastest, just ahead of the Schuppan Porsche 962C sportscar driven by Garnet Patterson.

The Ferrari 296 Challenge and Audi R8 GT3 were next best, setting the fifth and sixth quickest times, followed by a Ford AU Falcon, Porsche GT3 RS, Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Nissan R32 GTR Skyline.

The 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival saw the likes of Valtteri Bottas, Damon Hill, Thierry Boutsen, Guenther Steiner, David Croft and more in attendance, featuring categories such as Formula 1, Hypercars, Le Mans, Can-Am and more.

Huge crowds attended the Gouger Street Party on the Friday evening, with the event taking place in Victoria Park across Saturday and Sunday.
