Moffat joins AMF for Peak Hour of Power.
Date: Nov 19, 2018
Allan Moffat is a legend of Australian motorsport. With four Bathurst wins, four Australian Touring Car Championships and class wins at the Daytona and Le Mans 24-hour races in the Mazda RX7, he is one of the country's most successful racers.
We're delighted to announce that Allan will take part in this year's Peak Hour of Power as it roars through the Friday evening traffic to the Gouger Street Party on Friday November 30.
His ride is a faithful tribute the RX7 he drove to win the 1983 Australian Touring Car Championship. That car was destroyed in a crash in 1984. The replica wears full Group C bodykit and wheels, along with period correct livery from Moffat's 1983 car.
Moffat and the RX7 join our biggest Peak Hour of Power field ever, with 21 vehicles lining up to take on the city traffic. Don't miss this one!
