Held the week prior to the Australian Grand Prix, the Adelaide Motorsport Festival is a museum in motion, displaying historic, rare and significant racing vehicles in the Adelaide Park Lands and beyond. The event is supported by the State Government of South Australia as an important part of the Malinauskas Labor Government's Motorsport Policy. 

 

 

Adelaide’s motorsport pedigree is unmatched, and the Adelaide Motorsport Festival brings together the cream of automotive history and heritage with the latest in go-fast tech, all in a picnic races setting around a section of the iconic Adelaide Grand Prix track. The Adelaide Motorsport Festival is a celebration of power, speed, courage and innovation for the whole family.

ON-TRACK ACTION

The action at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival is fast, furious and frequently changing, with a different category of vehicles on track every 10 to 15 minutes, from historic Formula 1 cars to fire-breathing Time Attack weapons.

 

With a variety of different categories, from open wheelers to sportscars to touring cars to motorbikes, there is something for everyone to see on and off the track.

OFF-TRACK atmosphere

The Adelaide Motorsport Festival combines high-octane action on-track with a laid back picnic races atmosphere off-track.

 

Enjoy fine local food, with beer, wine and spirits from local producers on the shady lawns, browse the trade stalls and check out the static displays of cars and motorcycles.

Plus there's plenty to check out off-track, including in the Grand Marquee, E-Motion Zone, villas and more.  

AMF JUNIOR

The Adelaide Motorsport Festival is fun for kids of all ages. 


There’s plenty to keep young motorsport fans amused –  simulators, scalextric tracks, radio controlled car racing and more!

 

Plus, of course, there are so many cars to see on and off the track, trade displays and entertainment, there's something for the whole family.

E-Motion Zone

Get a glimpse of the future of motorsport and more. The E-Motion Zone presented by the City of Adelaide brings together the latest in electric vehicle technology for the street, track and beyond.

See the latest model hybrids and EVs, advanced prototypes, generation and storage systems and more..

With interactive displays, on-track demonstrations you will discover the way in which we will all be moving in years to come.

Gouger Street Party

The Adelaide Motorsport Festival rolls into Gouger Street for the annual Street Party.

 

The night begins with the Peak Hour of Power – a high-powered parade of exotic, wild and rare vehicles that runs from Victoria Park into the city.


With live music and driver appearances, there's a fun and festive atmosphere.

MOTORSPORT CITY

With its city parklands location in Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi (Park 16), the Adelaide Motorsport Festival is perfectly placed in the city of Adelaide. Take advantage of the free City Connector bus, offering a hop-on and hop-off service to the city and North Adelaide linking popular city attractions, shopping, dining and key destinations.
